![]() ![]() Understood, but the three CDs that come with the server have to be initiated from a 32-bit system, so my point was that if the 3.0 update comes on media that can be initiated from either a 32-bit OR 64-bit system, it would be worth having. The Media Collector has functioned well in the few tests I have performed, and the Remote Streaming has functioned similar to my EX495. I’ve converted numerous videos with the Video Converter, and the console remains accessible and interactive even while under high CPU load. I will reiterate my recommendation that you try to exercise some patience and let the system do it’s initial indexing of all your media before turning on all the features. ![]() Performance Impressions I’ve not performed any numeric benchmarks or comparisons of the servers before and after the 3.0 upgrade, but I can state that I have been satisfied and even pleasantly surprised by the performance of both the EX475 and EX487 running the 3.0 software. And most importantly, have fun with your newly updated MediaSmart Server, and be sure to post in the forums with your experience or any questions you may have. ![]() UPDATE: I’ve released that is compatible with both the HP 1.3 and 3.0 Software on the EX47x servers. My does not seem to work with this update, I’ll investigate if it’s possible to resolve this issue and release a new version if I can. ![]()
